Could you be our new Volunteer Coordinator?
This is a voluntary role that would suit someone interested in people and looking to make a difference as part of our dedicated team.
Purpose of the role:
To coordinate the recruitment, training, inductions, ongoing development and consistency of experience of the volunteer workforce of Waveney foodbank.
Key Skills
- IT skills [confident / competent user of email, Microsoft Office and internet]
- Empathy and a good understanding of vulnerable people and those who are disadvantaged, marginalised or from a socially excluded background
- Effective management of supported volunteers
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently
- Numerate and comfortable interpreting statistical data
- Negotiating skills and the ability to resolve conflicts
- Current UK driving licence and own car that can be used for this role is desirable
Hours: approx 2 days per week, flexible to suit
